Who needs Salvation

Everyone has failed to live up to what God expects of us. No one is able to able to perfectly keep God’s commandment.

We are all sinners in need of a saviour

Matthew 5:21-22 ESV

You have heard it was said to those of old "You should not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgement" But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgement; who insults his brother will be liable to council; and whoever says "You fool" will be liable to the hell of fire.

Matthew 5:27-28 ESV

You have heard that it was said "You shall not commit adultery" But I say to you that everyone who looks at a women with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Romans 3:23 ESV

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23 ESV

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

Our disobedience separates us from our Creator. We need His divine forgiveness.

God is absolute holiness, and to preserve His own character He must remain absolutely holy in all his dealings with man.

All men are sinners and unable to meet Gods standards. Gods standard is unattainable.

Ignorance of The Law is where a lot pf people fall down! Thinking that you only have made minor transgressions only makes you ignorant of the truth. You have embraced the darkness much more then the light!

How many commandments have you transgressed?

Understand God's commandments and there can only be one answer Guilty sentence Hell

Romans 7:12 ESV

So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

God's Judgement and the Law

Romans 2:15-16 ESV

They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them, on that day when according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Jesus Christ.

God wants you to come to Him though repentance, thankful that He sent Jesus Christ to save you!

People that do not understand God's Law accept they are guilty sinners who deserve Hell, turn to God out of fear not repentance. Failing to understand Why plants doubt in their minds "is God fair and just"?

The answer is YES He is, always!

How can we be reconciled with God?

How can man be reconciled with God, when he can not meet God's standards!

God settled the issue Himself. God's Salvation Plan ! Jesus Christ

He sent His Son to this earth to become a man and to ultimately give His life for you and me.

On the cross where Jesus died, He took the punishment for sin that we deserved.

How are we saved?

Acts 4:12 ESV

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved … Jesus Christ

2Corinthians 5:21 ESV

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God

Finding God starts by admitting failure and guilt. God disturbs our conscience, but a guilty conscience is not enough:

To be forgiven a person must turn to Jesus Christ, though personal repentance and trust.

John 14:6 ESV

Jesus said to him” I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except though me”

John 1:12 ESV

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

Romans 10:9-10 ESV

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved

Understand you need a savior.

Understand that Jesus died for you,

Thank God that Christ died on the cross to save you, a guilty sinner,

Ask God to forgive you, Turn away from your sins, accept that only Jesus can save you, remember .God looks at the heart, and sincerely pray a prayer that is real to you!

You can pray something like this:

Lord, I know that I have sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died on the cross in my place and took my punishment there. Thank you that he rose again and lives today. Help me to turn from sins, cleanse me from my sins. I invite Him into my life to be my Savior

God heard my prayer, he will also hear yours!
